• SLŌLĒ

    Senior Project Campaign

The 2023 spring senior show exhibition theme, "Wellness for Design," focused on using effective methods and practices to benefit designers in personal and social situations. The exhibition showcased current case studies and design research to raise awareness about our perceptual, visual, and social systems. The goal was to reconstruct relatable and objective designs. While wellness is personal, it's also influenced by social factors often overlooked in traditional design thinking. Experts debate economic struggles, and we have a choice; wait or embrace the opportunity to tackle challenges by creating problem-solving guidelines. The goal is to promote healing through adaptive designs and systems thinking making a positive impact in our daily lives.

Overview

Project Proposal

Today, people often struggle to find time for themselves and prioritize their well-being. The concept of slow living, which emphasizes taking things at a slower pace and being present in the moment, has gained popularity in recent years. This proposal outlines the creation of a business that promotes slow living called SLŌLĒ.

SLŌLĒ will be a lifestyle brand that promotes slow living through various products and services. The business will offer a range of products, including magazines on slow living. SLŌLĒ will also provide services, such as wellness workshops, retreats, and online courses to show people how to incorporate the slow living principles into their lives.

Target Audience

The target audience for SLŌLĒ will be individuals interested in wellness, sustainability, and self-improvement. Millennials and Gen Z are more environmentally conscious and value experiences over material possessions. The business will also target individuals who suffer from stress and burnout and are looking for ways to slow down and prioritize their well-being.
